North Gwinnett Advanced Toastmasters Club member Carlton Young will compete as a semifinalist in Toastmasters’ 2015 World Championship Public Speaking contest.
Young is a U.S. Marine veteran, entrepreneur, activist and philanthropist. He has lived through homelessness and gone on to become a successful inspirational speaker and author of “From Home to Homeless to Success.” He has been traveling throughout Georgia presenting his speeches in preparation for the World Championship.
In June 2015, producers of the reality TV series Chrisley Knows Best contacted Toastmasters International in need of a club experience for their 2015 season finale “The Graduate”. Georgia Commerce Club met that call to action with a taping of their club meeting on June 27th. Watch and see what happened!
