Fall Virtual District Council Meeting
Per Toastmasters International bylaws, policies and protocols, District 44 is required to hold a Virtual Fall Council Meeting to approve the district budget, approve appointments made by the district director, and present required reports. The 2020 Virtual Council Meeting is scheduled Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 9:00 am.
Who needs to be present?
District Officers, Club Presidents, and Club Vice Presidents of Education must be present to vote since we cannot assign proxies for the virtual business meeting. No proxies are permitted.
Each district council member must cast their own vote. District executive committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to two additional votes as a club president or vice president education. All other members of the district council shall be limited to a maximum of two votes.
Where a member serves multiple clubs as president or VP-education, they are eligible for one vote per office per club. No proxies are allowed according to policy.
Agenda
Protocol 7.1 requires Meeting Agenda, Proposed Budget, Appointed Officers, Spring 2020 Council Meeting Minutes, and Alignment changes to be provided 14 days prior to the meeting by email and/or posting.
